I had a lot of friends joining, and had an interest in science
I have come to love animation as an art form, and hope to pursue it further in college
I joined BERT after a presentation they had at the middle school my 8th grade year. I joined mostly to gain experience I knew I wouldn't get at school and to have fun creating a moving, working robot.
Bert has given me the knowledge of robotics and given me experiences I have never dreamed of getting.
Came for the robots, stayed for the pierogies.
It has given me opportunities that I would never have had otherwise (cliche as it is).
I joined BERT because a close friend told me it would be a great experience.
It's taught me what being a good sport means.
I thought that it would be cool to build robots.
I gained leadership skills and learned a lot about engineering.
I joined mostly out of curiosity and I was happy with the team so I stayed.
It has solidified my decision to become a programmer as a profession.
