Ted Goulet
This is my second year with the team. My son joined BERT as a freshman in 2009 and I hung around and helped out where ever I could. The opportunity came up at the end of the 2009-2010 season for some new folks to run the team. Although I hadn't even entertained the thought of taking it over, I was strongly convinced to do this by the former leadership. So now I am an advisor along with Scott Tracy. It is very rewarding helping out the students. It's great to see them come up with ideas when given a task and I'm looking forward to see what we come up with for the 2010-2011 competiton. Besides having the shared job of "hearding the cats" I help out with training the students on the Autodesk Inventor program. I also help the students with general assembly, testing and brainstorming. I've also been training in machining, which I find very interesting, yet tedious. And I provide the students direction in graphic design and signage related ideas.
