Hey everyone, sorry it's been a while since I blogged it has been busy at robotics. The kicker has been finished and works very well it kicks great and doesn't have any problem with the bump. Mike also finished the arm and it works! Their is still the very small problem with it not lifting using the window motors they do not have enough torque for that but Mike and Ronnie were working on using CIM motors instead and they should work much better and still come in under weight. Oh! and we weighed the robot and it weighed 96 pounds with the window motors for the arm.

Today at Eagle Industries we made good progress. The kicker was finished with a 2:1 gear ratio and does well. The electronics have been put on but still need to be wired so the robot can be driven. The lift arm is going well, all the corners on the grab part have been rounded and it weighs a bit less. The arm is still not finished but will be by the end of the week. The bumpers have almost been finished but will now be held on by a U Channel bracket over the frame.
