Why I joined BERT:
I first saw the team and the robot in 8th grade, during a demonstration. The robot completely fascinated me and I wanted to learn how to help build one.
What surprised me after I joined BERT:

How often the team met during build season, and how much work and planning goes into the robot's design and assembly.

What committees I have been on:
Animation
What committees I have been on:
Machining
What committees I have been on:

What committees I have been on:
Spirit
Best memory of BERT:
One year at a yard sale fundraiser the pop-up tent I was under flipped over because of a sudden gust of wind. I was afraid to go back under it for the rest of the day.
How BERT has affected me:
I've found a great group of friends and I am learning a lot that I never would have learned had I not joined. It's also given me a great feeling of belonging and worth.
College plans:
Not sure what I want to do yet -- maybe something in the social sciences -- but I know I'm going to college, and it will be somewhere in New England.
What I hope to do in the future:
Save the world!
Favorite whatever:
Sleeping. Which of course is impossible to do during the build season. :-P
